Fermented barley is ground into powder to make red pepper paste or instant soybean paste conveniently.

 

◎ How to make instant soybean paste
  Supplies: Fermented Barley Powder 1kg, fermented soybean powder 2kg, red pepper seed powder 150g, little red pepper powder, bay salt 800g
    1) Pour bay salt in the water to dissolve completely.
    2) Add fermented soybean powder, Fermented Barley Powder, red pepper seed powder and red pepper powder in above salt water and mix well with a spatula.
    3) After mixing, put it in the crock and seal to prevent air entry.
    4) Ferment it for 3 months to finish the instant soybean paste, and store in kimchi refrigerators, etc.

◎ How to make red pepper paste
  Supplies: Fermented Barley Flour 1kg, red pepper powder 1.2kg, grain syrup 2kg, bay salt 560g
    1) Pour bay salt in the water to dissolve completely.
    2) Warmly melt the grain syrup, add red pepper powder and Fermented Barley Powder, and mix well to prevent lumps.
    3) Put finished red pepper paste in the crock and seal to prevent air entry.
    4) Ferment it for a few days to finish the red pepper paste.
