◎ Product Feature

This product used 100% Korean unhulled barley, so you can experience the rich flavor and scent of traditional sweet rice punch.
It goes through 2 purification processes in production that it is more sanitary, and has less foreign substances like empty grain than other products.

 

◎ How to make sweet rice punch

Materials: 1kg malt, 6L water (warm), 4 bowls of rice (hard rice, about 1kg), sugar (adjust according to taste)
              400g malt, 3L water (warm), 2 bowls of rice (hard rice, about 400g), sugar (adjust according to taste)


1. Pour 1kg of malt into 6L of water, mix for 2~3 minutes, and leave for 5 minutes.
   (Pour 400g of malt in 3L of water for 400g product, mix for 2~3 minutes, and leave for 5 minutes.)
   (Adjust the malt and water ratio according to the volume of heat-insulated container to use in 3.)


2. Remove sprouts and husk floating, and strain the water through fine fabric.
   Using the white dregs at the bottom will turn the color red or black, so try not to use it.
   (It doesn’t affect the flavor, scent or sugar content of rice punch.)


3. Put strained malt water and rice into heat-insulated container such as electric rice cooker, mix well and leave for 4~7 hours under “Keep warm” function. 

   10 or more rice grains will float, and this is when saccharification (fermenting) is completed.

 

4. Move saccharized water into a big bowl, add sugar or other sweetener to your taste, and boil for 10 minutes to finish the sweet rice punch.

   Cool down and keep refrigerated or freeze to enjoy it for a long time.
